Women with breast cancer more likely to retain jobs after treatment!
Between 20 and 30 percent of women diagnosed with breast cancer will lose their jobs, according to a study published in Health Affairs, endangering their financial security as well as their insurance coverage. But the risk is heavily biased: Poor women are four times more likely to be jobless by the end of treatment than their better-off peers.
That is why I march 5K in snowshoes; to raise money to help those diagnosed to get the screenings and treatments they need.
Please consider helping me, so I can help them.
